Sowing calendar and frost
The most common garden mistake is timing. Out too early and the late frost kills three tomatoes. Sown too late and the lettuce bolts in the July heat. Here I collect what I know about sowing weeks, the Ice Saints (mid-May frost traditional in Central Europe), and frost detection — calibrated for Switzerland, Austria, Germany.
